Technology Projects (3D Printing)

Advanced Technology Concepts

Students explored advanced technology concepts through 3D modelling and 3D printing projects in the Fab Lab. They learned the complete workflow—designing models, slicing files, and operating 3D printers. The projects included creating real-life utility objects as well as complex gear structures, helping students understand modern manufacturing techniques and the practical use of emerging technologies.

Phase 1: 3D Modelling – Students use platforms like Tinkercad to bring their original ideas to life in a digital 3D space.

Phase 2: Slicing – Models are prepared for production using Ultimaker Cura, where students set properties and convert designs into G-code.

Phase 3: Production – Students operate professional-grade 3D printers to fabricate everything from real-life utility objects to complex, functional gear structures.

At Sanskriti, we follow a production-based pedagogy. We don’t just teach students about technology; we empower them to fabricate it, fostering the 21st-century skills of problem-solving, creativity, and technical mastery.
